Minimum Requirements : Civil Engineering Associate Diploma (or equivalent) required. Minimum 10 years' experience required. Skills required . Ability to gather information and pass on recommendations . Ability to interpret instructions and show initiative to research information, develop ideas and anticipate problems . Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms

Job Description : Major activities . Allocate work to drafters (including contract drafters) to achieve set objectives and meet target dates . Check engineering drawings in accordance with quality assurance procedures to ensure Australian and Company standards are achieved . Monitor progress of allocated projects and, if necessary, formulate revisions to work plans in consultation with the CAD Manager and/or Project Manager . Produce more complex layout and engineering drawings on CAD for allocated projects . Maintain an advanced knowledge in the use of the cad and document control systems for the training and/or mentoring of sub-ordinates . 	Principal - Transport Planning /Modelling

	Minimum Experience Experienced in all aspects of Transport planning and modelling from feasibility studies to concept development and detailed implementations; - Transport planning and modelling for major road/HWY projects is essential; - Experienced in transportation and landuse requirements to identify economic and related development potentials; - Able to identify and assess economic development possibilities and potentials within the regional context; - Able to develop an integrated database for network and zone data, as well as FORTRAN and dBASE programs for aggregating/disaggregating data and for computing highway capacity; - A knowledge in the creation and validation of a travel demand forecasting process for estimation of toll roads is an advantage.
